Month: July 2013

Finally ready for the Gathering!

Finished the last thing- my necklace- now I’m ready to relax for tonight before flying out to see the in-laws then on my way to Rochester. So excited!!
If you’ll be at the conference make sure to introduce yourself

New Work for the Gathering

Still trying to get our nice Canon figured out to get the best pics- probably need a dedicated macro lens for that..wish I hadn’t put our smaller cameras in a ‘safe place’, hopefully they pop up soon.

These are some of my newest work, so excited to be taking them to the ISBG’s 21st Gathering in Rochester, NY on the 27th of this month! I’ve been experimenting with patinas, too, which is why my bead caps may look a little different- I’m really hoping they’re well received.
If you’ll be at the Conference or Bead Bazaar, let me know!- I’d love to meet you 🙂

Copprclay beadcaps, before firing

Gearing up for capping and coring a lot of hollow focals. The Gathering is only two weeks away and I have sooo many things left to do before I’m ready!
Looking forward to seeing my glass people, feels like eternity since I’ve been able to ‘talk shop’ with someone. Should be an exciting time. I’ll post some more pics once I’ve gotten a few more beads done…also having fun playing around with patinas, we’ll see if anything comes of it.
